I think shame comes with acknowledgment. Nudity is not a result of the original sin, but the acknowledgment of modesty, yes, an action which stems from a conforming society, but it cannot be compared to feeling of shame for doing something wrong

I don't think shame is always something that you're taught. Shame comes from feeling that you're not as good as you should be. But people can teach you that certain things, like nudity, lower your worth, although in reality they don't.

I turn my back for five minutes and you guys convince yourselves that shame is taught, and that wearing clothes is irrational?
Yes, you genius, clothes, modesty, and empathy are the result of an irrational thought-system known as "civilization."

well ok on the physical level yes..if we lived in a bush and were in a naked culture then we would say naked is ok..true
but the bible means to speak more on a spiritual approach of shame of having all of your wrong doings exposed out on front street..after you tried to deny it ..after you were specifically told WHAT NOT TO DO..
that is spirital shame in the worse case....life wasnt as complex with worldy morals back then as today the wordl had just begun so that little bit of spiritual shame probably tore them to peices...not to mention it open the curse of sin upon all man kind!

No
I dont think it has anything to do with parenting.
For one, if it wasnt an ingrained thing, nakedness would be seen as a rational thing to do.
And if it was simply taught, people could override this teaching and continue to live their lives with the so called :rationality of being naked.
nakedness is viewed in the human psyche as a source of undeveloped behaviour
animals are naked, cave men are naked, and people who want to be viewed by their sexyness are naked.
theres nothing rational about nakedness.

THE SIN WAS THE KNOWLDGE.
THE KNOWLDGE WAS NUDITY.
AN ADULT THAT HAS NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF MAN, IS NOW STANDING NUDE IN A ROOM FULL OF MAN.
THEY KNOW THEY ARE NAKED THE SHAME WAS'NT NUDITY IT WAS KNOWING THEY TURNED AGINST GOD'S WILL.

We don't all agree that shame is taught.
No, shame of nudity is a natural feeling. It must be suppressed in most people who go nude in public.

Absolutely.
I worked with someone whose who life, marriage and general attitude had been so blighted by her fathers religious beliefs that she could never enjoy anything (anything at all) without shame.
Ironically her father had affairs, never went to church, drank....
