China doesn't have the ability to field an army of any size except on their continent. They can't launch a conventional war here.

We're not going to invade China in a conventional war because they have unlimited resources and an extremely large army.

And nobody's going to trigger a nuclear which nobody would survive.

Iran, and a few other small countries in the world, on the other hand doesn't care if it's turned into an irradiated slab of glass. They are quite capable and desirous of starting something that would most certainly obliterate their country.

Considering we have Air and Naval supremacy, we would win, at great cost, and there would be a draft instated.

Our allies in the region would likely be wiped out, the Republic of China would be invaded within a second of war being declared, and Japan/South Korea would soon after.

China's "large army" is under-equipped and their training/tactics are well behind ours. With Air and Naval power, their ground war would have issues with supplies.

Nuclear weapons would likely be used by a desperate China in the end, so that would be an issue

But war with China is at the very least 20-30 years off, and by that time who knows what will happen, they are already starting to become more Capitalist, and if Democracy movements keep going through, they could become a powerful ally.

Where you're hearing Bush is going to war with China, I'm not sure, but it's not in the plans, Iran is first on the list

Bush is not going to go to war with China, if a war comes between us, it will be because Russia, China, and North Korea go to war with us for invading Iran.
We have a vastly superior air force and navy, so first thing is that we would destroy China's, Russia's, and North Korea's ability to launch a conventional attack against the US in the Pacific and the Atlantic.
The land war would happen mostly in Iran, but Our Allies (Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Poland, Italy, South Korea, Israel, South Africa, Austrailia, and a few others) would probably join the war. Because of this, Europe would be invaded by Russian and Chinese troops. India and Japan would probably launch an invasion into China with our support, and probably won't get much ground at first. We probably would send our ground forces to help contain them in Europe.
From there, it will be a slow crawl, and I am hoping nuclear weapons would not be in play.
Casualties would be in the hundreds of millions, and that's with the optimism that none of us would use nukes.

If the United States went to war with China, it would likely be a war of missiles and bombers, since occupation of China would be suicide. Most likely, The United States would be attacked by China's allies. China would also be attacked by the U.S. Allies. Neither country would likely be invaded, but if any was, it would be the United States. A state of emergency would be declared and the troops would be called home to defend the homeland. Finally, if either country was backed into a corner, a massive thermonuclear war would commence. The war would likely be very short, probably less than 3 hours, but it would result in the destruction of the world as we know it.

Bush wouldn't start a war with China... no one would... its like starting a war with the United States.

First, no I don't think Bush would even consider a war in the region. Why do you think we are so hands off with North Korea?

Second, war would be bad. In prior wars, most countries were not so intertwined. China has 20% of their money in our country. We have a sizable part of our manufacturing base in China. That is a unique relationship.

Our economy would collapse due to the loss of new Chinese funds. We would also have to build, very quickly, a manufacturing base to make war supplies in quantity. The dollar would collapse around the world due to our biggest backer no longer propping it. If you think it is expensive to go to Europe now, try after a war with China.

China's economy would collapse due to us seizing so much of their money. They would lose their biggest trading partner and source of new money. But, they would have a LOT of factories to turn out war supplies and a HECK OF A LOT of people to put in uniform.

Thankfully, much like the cold war, each side realizes its dependence on the other side. Even Bush would not make a mistake of poking that panda.

LOTS OF USELESS KILLING.

NO, as of today, i don't think that war will happen. 20 years ago, yes.

China is an economic super power now and business is good. The capitalist want to profit from the billions of people in China.

You need to understand something. Countries like Iran, China,North Korea, and Cuba only require removal of the government. It is an evil government not an evil people that are our enemies. Most people in those countries want change but the government kills political enemies.
So a few well placed bombs will accomplish much more than a foot war.

I dont think so...China seems to want to have a good trade relationship with us. with the execption of course of all their tainted products but once they get it rolling with the help of international standards we should be alright. Would make no sense to piss them off thoug...they outnumber us by the freaking billions although I know I can Kung-fu 5 at a time but I'd still not like to take that chance

I don't see that happening, unless something happens in the War on Iraq that would lead to the start of World War III.
