or will he have a taste of bad luck?

Will Gordon capitalize and win the chase?

I really think he will bide his time out there. Racing around and staying clean and out of danger as best he can. Perhaps if Gordon crashed (not that I want him too), we will see him get real racey and go for the win, since he will have nothing to lose at that point.

After Jeff's interview, I don't think he wants to win the championship by cashing in on Jimmie crashing. It sounded to me like he wanted to race for it. Those two definitely have done that up to this point.

Looks like it. The whole field seems to have dried up over the last 4 races. What happened to Gibbs and Roush? I didn't expect Gordon to dominate (he hasn't all year), but neither has Johnson. All year long Denny, Tony, Matt K, and the Busch's have been STRONG. They've been absent the last half of the chase. Look for Jeff to get a top 5 and Jimmy to either win it or run just good enough to clinch. I HATE THE CHASE FORMAT!!!

I think he'll go for 5 in a row. To have that, the last time this was done was back in 1971 by Richard petty I believe, would be as big if not bigger then winning the cup. but if Johnson thinks or feels that he'll wreck he won't go for it, unless things go his way *like they have been* he'll win Homestead and the championship!!!

I say Gordon wins the title. Fun fact for you guys. In 2 of the 3 major racing series the points leader going into the final race left without the championship. Hamilton lost his title hopes to Kimi Raikkonnen in Formula One and Scott Dixon lost his to Dario Franchitti. Remeber all it would take is a flat tire, part failure, or getting caught in someone else's wreck. I know Jimmie has the momentum but true race fans know that the racing GODS can interfere at anytime and change the outcome.

Jimmie is capable of winning his 5th in a row...All he has to do is finish 18th...But it would be nice to see someone else win the race...Come on Jr get it done... Don't think bad luck knows how to find Jimmie he had some earlier this yr.. I just don't think Jeff can pull this off...Jimmie has it in the bag..He is going to drive smart thats for sure..

I really doubt it. Anything could happen. I love JJ but I was so going for Jeff this year to win another championship. At the same time it would be cool to see 5 in a row. The way that they have been running they deserve it!

I think he will just log laps around the track. If the opportunity presents itself for the win without jeapordizing the championship, he will take it. There is no need for him to push the issue. He knows what Homestead is like.

#48 ROCKS!!!!!

Go Jimmie Go!!!

No, I don't think it will happen. I think he'll get out there and try, but will maybe try too hard and blow it at the last minute. Gordon better be careful, or he may wind up doing the same thing. Bad things happen when you try too hard.

Go Jr.>>>>x

I think that this is the race that Biffle wins, but Jimmie takes the championship! (Poor Biffle he wins at Homestead and they steal his Thunder!)

It's Biffle's race to lose. He's won 3 straight. Gordon's out of it unless Johnson wrecks early.
