I had to work away from home all day. He was on the pole and finished 41st or something. Did he wreck or blow an engine? I can't find any info.

He did not wreck but he did have mechanical issues with his engine. I never did hear the final diagnosis and Carl got back out to run enough laps to move up to 42nd instead of last.

He didn't wreck. He had some problems with his engine around lap 110. He went into the garage and fixed whatever was wrong and went back out on the track around lap 145. However, the problems continued and he went back into the garage about lap 162. This time it was for good. According to the chart on Yahoo! on Edwards, he took the lead again around lap 245, but I think that was because everyone else pitted. Then around lap 255 he dropped back down to 42nd. This is where he ended up finishing, about 187 laps down.

He led the 1st 87 laps then pitted for engine troubles--they went to the Garage--He came back out and ran some more and finished 41st--The TV announcers never really said what the exact problem was!!!!

He Blew up and finished 41st!
But did have a good car at the start of the race!

He was running really good, and lead many of the laps until his engine blew yesterday. He did get back out there, but unfortunately he was 37 laps down at that time. Was really too bad, because he had a good car in the beginning.
