christians will always answer, because my heart tells me so. then that's fine. but my heart tells me something else. their faith doesnt offend me, however their persecution does. and so if they are going to persecute in the name of GOD based on fact from the BIBLE then they need to answer questions. but they have circular logic, it's all answered with,'because the lord tells me so'. hmmm

He did make it clear, its man that has the trouble. As long as Jesus was with the disciples they had no problems, he was the master, but as soon as Jesus left and ascended into Heaven man started trying to interpret scripture without the help of the Holy Spirit and this is what we got today, it has nothing to do with God, it has everything to do with us. Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ, the today, yesterday and forever. He never changes, but we sure do. We humans are sinners, and sometimes we think we can explain the Bible with out the Spirits help, but its obvious we can't, so what I do and the reason I answered your question was I read the bible thru every year myself. I don't take the preachers word for it. As I read it the Spirit in certain places will reveal something to me. Then I know for a fact that is truth. Thats what you have to do if you are a Christian. The Holy Spirit will speak to you if you are saved just as much as he will to a Preacher, God is no respector of persons, he wants to have a personal relationship with everyone on this planet but some refuse him, thats not Gods fault. We have free will, if you decide not to serve Christ then the Bible says hell is where you are headed. I personally will take Heaven, I have felt the spirit, it guides me and teaches me the truth from the Bible, In John 3;3 is the most important verse, you must be born again, or saved, its simple if you believe, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

The division in religion started way back at the Tower of Babel which was being built in defiance of God. God confused their languages and they all went off in different directions. The people took with them their memories, experiences, and ideas everywhere they went. In time these were elaborated and changed as they become unsatisfactory in one way or another.
Then came the Reformation. William Tyndale had translated the Bible into the language of the people (and was killed for his effort). The formal break from Roman Catholicism took place when Henry VIII (1491-1547), named Defender of the Faith by the pope, declared the Act of Supremacy in 1534, setting himself up as the head of the Church of England. Henry closed the monasteries and divided their property among the gentry. He also he ordered that a copy of the Bible in English be placed in every church. However, Henry’s action was more political than religious. What he wanted was independence from papal authority, especially over his marital affairs.
Then came Elizabeth I. Under her reign the Church of England became Protestant though the practices of Catholicism were still largely practiced. She abolished allegiance to the pope, clerical celibacy, confession, and other Catholic practices. This caused such an upset that people started to disent.
Puritans demanded a more thorough reform to purify the church of all Roman Catholic practices; the Separatists and Independents insisted that church affairs should be run by local elders (presbyters). Many of the dissidents fled to the Netherlands or to North America, where they further developed their Congregational and Baptist churches. There also sprung up in England the Society of Friends (Quakers) under George Fox (1624-91) and the Methodists under John Wesley (1703-91). Thus came the changes in doctrines, religion and politics were no longer separate and threads of mythology were interwined in religion. That's how the Trinity came about among other things.
Nearly all the Protestant churches subscribe to the same creeds—the Nicene, Athanasian, and Apostles’ creeds—and these profess some of the very doctrines that Catholicism has been teaching for centuries, such as the Trinity, immortal soul, and hellfire. These teachings gave the people a distorted picture of God and his purpose. Rather than aid them in their search for the true God, the numerous sects and denominations that came into existence as a result of the free spirit of the Protestant Reformation have only steered people in many diverse directions. In fact, the diversity and confusion have caused many to question the very existence of God. The result? In the 19th century there came a rising tide of atheism and agnosticism.
So the people are the ones who made the divisions among themselves and it all started because they wanted to build a tower to institute a man-made religion, with a motive of making a “celebrated name” for the builders.—Ge 11:4 And God is letting all of this continue for a time to prove that mankind cannot rule himself but rather instigate wars in which killing is blessed by 'religion'. But things will change... http://www.watchtower.org/e/20040301/article_01.htm

Many times Jesus compared us to crops in the field. He has planted his crop in all kinds of fields. Sure we all boast to think that each crop is his chosen ones. but he has planted crops all over so his enemies cant destroy us. He has explained that in the end there will be no boasting. That is why he died for us. Believing that he is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior of the world is the only way by which we are saved. All the other things we believe dont count for anything ezcept to boast.

That's like the philosophical thought that "what if a painting really a chair?" If a painting was a chair, then we'd be asking the same thing in reverse.
