I found my love when i was 12.. Well we didn't hook up at 12. He was dating my older sister actually, which only lasted about a month because they were like 14..So, we really got reacquainted when i was 16... But we knew a lot of the same friends..Then one night we were back on the railroad tracks drinking (i live in an extremely secluded town) and he just happens to come along, we ended up walking about 4 miles to one of our friends houses, then we didn't talk for a couple months.. All of a sudden i get back from out of town and i had a message from him and we've been in love ever since!

In high school :)
He had a crush on me for the longest time, but I never really paid attention to him (too busy chasing after the jerks). Our junior year I started kinda hanging out with his group (I had a crush on his friend), and really started noticing him. Senior year we started dating, fell in love, and got married 4 years later! It's been 2 years, and I love him more and more every day.
Moral of the story: You can sometimes find love where you least expect it. Give the nice guy a chance; you just never know...

On Craigslist.
I had tickets for a Tom Stoppard play, and wrote a rather pretentious "tell me why you should go with me" e-mail. She wrote back, saying that she couldn't go but she thought I was interesting enough. The girl I went with was a real dud (thank goodness). We e-mailed for a while, and then one day she wrote "Now would be the appropriate time to ask me out for a drink."
14 months later--we're engaged.

In a bar where I worked. I was off work at the time, but helping to clear bottles because it was a busy night and we helped each other out like that. My future husband was giving me funny looks then finally asked why I was cleaning up. I told him that I worked there, and we ended up talking all night. I had too much to drink, he took me to his place, but instead of taking advantage, he just gave me pj pants and put me to sleep on his couch. I have been hooked ever since!

the place i worked, one of my jobs in the preseason was bringing in new employees from the airport. i had a late night airport run to pick up a lady who was arriving late(2am!!). it turns out she came in on an earlier flight and was sitting int he airport for 5 hours before i got there. i bought her something to eat on the way back to the lodge. we got back at 4:30 in the morning, and when i took her to the room that she was supposed to be in until the dorms were ready, it was occupied by another person. unfortunately it was a male, as was the secondary room i had for her. i knew the general manager was staying at the lodge, but i didnt know what room she was in, the office was locked so i couldnt get a key to another room. so i offered to let her sleep in my room and i would sleep in the van. she said that wasnt fair to me, and i said there was no way i was letting her sleep in the van as it was too cold. i said there is a second bed in my room and she could sleep in that bed if she wanted, which she ultimately did. we started dating after that.

We met at work. After working closely together on a project, we found out we had a lot in common. It took time and effort for us to actually get together, but I wouldn't change it for anything.

In Jr year in high school. He was dating my friend who was secretly going out w/ him and he showed up at the halloween dance. Sad part was she was also dating exclusively at our school someone else; he didnt know that n none of us knew about him. There was of course a fight b/w the guys. I took my friend in the bathroom to talk to her, n when we came out both guys were gone. I didnt see him again until two years after graduating. I didnt even recognise him. I was visiting one of my friends who i hadnt seen since graduation. He pulled into the driveway and my friends mother went after him w/ the baseball bat cause he and his buddy (who was dating 1 of her daughters) were doing burnouts and watnot...Eventually he came to live at our place when he n his buddy needed a place to stay, His buddy went back w/ the g/f n he stayed.

I met my honey online in a job related chat room. We lived nearby met and the rest is history. Still you have to be careful about who you meet online. We were definitely lucky and are very happy.
