Yeah it can work, but you have to care about him too. It takes two people to make any relationship work, especially a LDR. I've been in one for 4 years now, hes in Germanyand i'm in USA. He has never cheated on me and he is one of the nicest guys in the world. He is totally devoted and i'm the same way with him. They are hard work and take a lot of communication, trust and honesty if both of you can do this then you are off to a good start. If you need anymore help with your LDR or potential LDR let me know:) good luck.

I know a couple of people who were in long distance relationsips. Some succeed and sad to day didn't have a not-so-happy ending.

If you say, he does anything for you, then the question would be how far can he go? and how far can you go?

Long distance relationship is something uberly challenging and to watch for. Long-distance is always hard and I have been to one and I do not recommend it. Aside from missing the person (a bunch), you need to spend a bundle of money to make this work and enjoyable.

Something that you need to decide too before entering into one is how long will your relatioship stay in long-distance status? A year? A year may not be bad but seeing each other quartetrly will help the relationship to grow.

More than a year? Then how many times will you see each other in this span?

Bottomline is, if you want that person then it's just a matter of how much work do you want to put in, and how badly you want to end together. In every relationship it always takes two to tango so you need to be sure if the person on the other end of the line feels the same way and ok with the situation. Unlike other relationship that requires work, LDR needs double work to have a happy ending.

Faith & Trust are the key!

God Bless to you!

Have you ever met this guy? Long distance relationships are very hard. Of course if you love eachother you can get through it..but if you two have never met I think it would be hard to say yo really love eachother...you just love the idea of being in love with eachother..

Yes. But I think that it will be hard for both of you at times, but if you guys really love each other then everything will be ok.

I really don't want to be a cynic but loving someone and being faithful to that person is two different things.

Maybe if you really want to be with this guy you should discuss moving closer together.

long distance relationships are tough, i know i am in one. you both have questions as to the others fidelity, and commitment. it can work though if both people are committed enough to make it work.

true love knows no bounds, but you have to be careful. and make sure you trust him enough not to mess around behind your back.
