This is the perpetual arguement between those who believe the bible is fulfilled already and Jesus is already reigning and the Kingdom or New Jeruselem is in heaven.

And those who believe the bible is still unfulfilled and the Kingdom is not here yet.

You should research both points of theological discussion and make your own conclusions.

Christ's kingdom is coming in two phases. In the first, he died so that the kingdom can rule within the hearts of men, changing them for through the New Birth and making them right with God.

Eventually, the kingdom will move out of the hearts, and into the government, culture, laws, etc of society. That is why Christians are called to be salt and light in the earth. To prepare the world for that change.

The final step in that change will be the physical return of Jesus to earth to establish his rulership. At that time, a New Heaven and a New Earth will be established. Both will be sin free, death free, sickness free, etc. That is God's ultimate goal, to have his kingdom on earth just as it is currently in heaven. Until then, those who die are waiting in heaven for that New Earth. People will be able to travel back and forth between heaven and earth. So we are not out of here forever...just until the remodeling is done.

The reason that God did his kingdom in two phases is to give as many people as much time as possible to get saved. Had he established his earthly reign in the 1st century, none of us would be here. The earth as we know it would have ceased.

Finally, if you look in the book of Revelation, chapter 20, you will see that after Jesus returns, he will rule for 1000 years. Anyone who was still alive will get to come under the ruleship. Verse 6 says that after 1000 years, the devil will be released, and all those who lived (or where born) during that time will be given a chance to either continue serving Jesus or rebel against him with the evil. After each has made his decision, the final judgement of mankind will take place.

Jesus said there will be a generation that will see the end of the age. The signs to watch for is:

1. Isreal becoming a nation again (happened in 1948)
2. Europe uniting (already occuring)
3. Moslem fundamentalism (happening)
4. Rebuilding of the 3rd temple (still in the future)
5. Russia, Iran, Turkey attack Isreal (still in the future but coming close)
6. Damascus being completely destroyed (in the near future)

These things will happen in the distant future and if God left it up to man, no flesh would survive. But Jesus will come back to stop it and set up a kingdom in Jeruselum for 1000 years.

Revelation 20:3
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 20:5
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:7
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

I don't believe in god.
He isn't coming back because when someone dies thats the end, but everyone shares there consciousness so it doesn't matter in anyway.
If I swapped body's with you and swapped memory's nether of us would know.
If you died you would not know about that and while there is life everything lives.
