Global warming is real it's just a matter of whether man is causing it or is it a natural cycle. You cannot blame the drought in the southeast to Global Warming. Dude droughts happen regardless!!! You can't sit here and find any correlation between the two. It's to early to tell and you need more data to link the two incidents. It's like saying hurricane katrina was caused by Global Warming. There's always hurricanes and there always will be, this just happened to hit a city that was already below sea level. Of course your going to have catastrophic damage!! So when the temperature starts cooling the next decade and we go below our average temps then you can say damn, now we're cooling, what happened to global warming, oh yea the earth goes in cycles, I completely forgot about that, I never should of followed all the hype!!

Wow, I'm sure Atlanta never ever had a drought until now. Weather happens. Every bad thing weather wise in the world can NOT be blamed on global warming.

worldwide Warming, boost interior the customary temperature of the ambience, oceans, and landmasses of Earth. The planet has warmed (and cooled) many circumstances for the duration of the 4.sixty 5 billion years of its history. at cutting-edge Earth seems to be dealing with a rapid warming, which maximum scientists believe effects, a minimum of partly, from human activities. the supervisor reason in the back of this warming is understood to be the burning of fossil fuels, which contain coal, oil, and organic gasoline, which releases into the ambience carbon dioxide and different components commonplace as greenhouse gases. because of the fact the ambience will become richer in those gases, it is going to become a greater helpful insulator, preserving greater of the warmth presented to the planet by using the solar.

Wait, you said global warming was going to cause more hurricanes and thus more rain. That was just last year or the year before. Now you are saying it causes less rain too? See how funny this is to those of us who think for ourselves? You should throw in those fires in California. They never had fires like that before. Must be global warming. And the mud slides last year too. Ha ha.

Weather patterns change all the time. Droughts have occurred in all parts of the world at different times. If global warming caused the current drought in the SE USA, why would it be so localized?
Two scientists have recently reported ( risking their own professional reputations and careers) that the industrialized world does not pollute enough to impact the world's eco-system, and that the figures and models used by Al and his ilk are all false supposition.

How do you know that the region that has only been known as the American Southeast for 225 or so years has never experienced a similar drought?
Did Gaia tell you?

My theory is the the Southeast drought is a result of all the hot air coming out of Gore's house in Nashville.
