You should see a vet for the following reason. Herpatic ulcers of the eye have become quite common in cats and is caused by a virus. If this is what is causing the sore and redness, the sooner you have your cat treated, the less sever the problem will be and it will come back less frequently.
If you care about your cat keeping the vision in both eyes, take your cat to the vet, please.

You can put some saline drops in your cats eye. It is safe to use (we use it to flush debri or infection out of animals eyes) for pets. Do it 2-3 times a day for a few days and see if it improves. If not it sounds like your cat either scratched her eye or something scratched it causing it to become red and watery (it is watery because that is the naturel way of the eye trying to flush it out) Your cat may have an ulcer on it's eye which would require an antibiotic ointment for your cats eye. DON'T use anything else besides the saline drops. If it isn't better in a few days, take her to the vet. They will most likely stain your cats eye to try to see a scratch or ulcer. Good luck!

No do not do it, rinse the cats eye out with some water (cold) if you can and if it does not improve take it to a Vet. You cannot put a cats eyedrops in your eye and vice versa. Dont worry too much it might just be some dust or fluff. Good Luck

If this is always the case, I would think it's allergies. You should see your doctor, just to rule out conjunctivitis - but it sounds more like allergies. Have you tried any over the counter remedies for this? Any allergy medicine? Allergy eye drops? Talk to your doctor first, then try allergy meds and see if that works. Also, I wash my eyes during allergy season with Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo. It really relieves the symptoms for me. Good luck

There`s only one thing you need to know. If an animal that`s in your care needs medical attention, then you take it to an animal doctor to treat it. You don`t post questions to the general public, who don`t know any more about it then you do yourself. Obvosiously, you don`t care about the animal ......... otherwise you wouldn`t be wasteing time asking stupid questions about experimenting. Why don`t you just try to find a good home for it ????

I wouldn't use a human medication on an animal without a vets approval, People and animals do not react to things the same way, plus most medications are tested on 170lb aldults not on 10lb pets, even if whats in it is safe, the dose could be way to high for a cat. Please phone a vet

You have to be care with cats eyes. Cats are prone to ulcers in the eye and any antibiotic creme drop with any typoe of steroid derivative in it could be detrimental to your cats eye!!!
