I think people are confused. Global warming is not a myth. Proof is evident. The argument is whether or not man is causing it or is it a natural phenomena. That argument can go on forever, but the facts are global warming is real. I believe it is both. The earth has been warming and cooling for centuries. However; man needs to seriously look into this matter and make corrections to slow the process. There is only one planet earth. When it is destroyed, we are all destroyed.

Some are honestly mistaken. Others are conservatives who take their politics to extremes. If liberals or environmentalists, or worst, Al Gore say something, it HAS to be wrong. No matter how many scientists say the same thing.
Maybe they should listen to Newt:
"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"
Of course many don't have the scientific background to understand. So they simply repeat what they've heard from right wing radicals.
It's not entirely man made. But, mostly it is.

I know it's not a myth and I don't feel man is 100% responsible. I feel it is a joint effort and controlled more by natural phenomenon like the Sun. The reason some people think it is myth is b/c of all the hype and who is campaigning for it. Big filthy politicians. People are tired of being lied to and don't know what to believe anymore. The same when Bush said Saddam Husein had weapons of mass destruction. Well he didn't and our government just lied to us. So people just don't believe our government. If they liked science and would read up on global warming they would know we are warming and could base there own opinion as to how.

When faced with new scientific research and problems people tend to change very slowly so old expected belifs remain prevalent until such time when the scientific data is excepted. Also there is an alternate theory that says the earth is just in a natural warming period. So it is a little complicated. One thing is for sure. Humans are not helping the situation.

It's a myth to think people can effect the environment.
More scientist today see the Sun as the source for all climate changes than believe that man can effect the climate.

Does "believing" make you feel important? That you care more than we "deniers" do?
Go ahead and fester in your sanctimonious, self-congratulatory piety. Let the world pass you by while you sit and stew that we're going to be incinerated unless we stop driving, shopping, consuming and producing.
Have a good life!
