...still say he's a second tier candidate & will never win because nobody knows him? From what I'm reading/hearing it sounds like the nay sayers, or at least a FAIR amount of them are the less "fortunate" amongst our society. Might these nay sayers be frightened that a Paul administration might "touch off" their statusy lil "entitlement" checks? I mean theres a lot of chronic drunks/druggies out there that look forwards once a month to that SSI disability check so they can keep "indulging". Then there's the folks that have been diagnosed with ERGOPHOBIA, or the fear of work that qualifies them for SSI benefits as it is classified as a true medical disorder. Sounds to me like there's just a lot of American's that like "dinging the pooch" & want a free ride at the productive folks expense! What's your take on the nay sayers?

Looking around the towns where I live, I think you've made a very accurate assessment.
While I was handing out Ron Paul flyer's last week an older lady told me she wasn't voting for Ron Paul because he wanted to abolish S.S.
I quickly handed her a print out I had made of this:
http://www.house.gov/paul/tst/tst2007/tst100707.htm
...And told her to please read the bill he introduced at the bottom of the page.....She hurried off.
The point is many people are receiving distorted or made up information about Ron Paul, simply because of some misconception that has been planted into their heads.
Ron Paul is FOR the common people of the USA, more so than any of the other well financed, from the corporate elite segment, candidates........I urge people to look through the smoke & mirrors, to see exactly who will best "SERVE" in the best interests of the common American [s]!
Thank you.

Nice question - not sure the accuracy of the definition though.
So, if we have all these drunkards, poor people etc as nay sayers - they wont count in the least. Most of them are too busy trying to eek out a living or getting drunk that they really dont care one way or another - so long as they get their next meal or drink.
No - the real "nay sayers" are those people that simply dont understand him. They are the ones that are brain washed to think and follow what the elite tell them to think or follow - they are the ones who CANNOT, for what ever reason, think on their own and MUST by default follow what other people.
God forbid they have a unique thought in their head and actually looked at what he is saying and determine for themselves whether or not it makes sense. God forbid they realize that if we keep doing what we have always done that we will always get what we got now. God forbid they learn to think and try to make a differtence in their own lives rather then just blindly following the crowd.
SO - I see there are a lot of nay sayers that answered this question - I have a challenge for all of you. Lets talk taxes - for every single one of you hear who thinks that the government needs your money to run - if Ron Paul wins I want you to send me all the money you would save when he gets rid of taxes.....is anyone willing to do that.
Dont worry, I promise i will put it to good use opening up a rela school or a real hospital for kids or something like that. It wont go to watse - all of you who will do that please feel free to contact me - you can start sending it to me now if you want to.
Of course - if you dont send it to me then I will know that you are not being true to yourself and are only taking advantage of the system.
Care to think about what your real convictions are now?
Dont downplay Ron simply because he speaks the truth. Take your buddy Gore's title and apply it to what Ron is saying - an inconvient truth.
The truth will always set you free - think, choose, choose wisely -

Many of the poor may oppose him for the reasons that you stated. But I don't believe for a second that they are the ones driving the opposition to him. For every dollar of benefit that goes to a poor person, there are thousands of dollars going to the politically connected elite.
I used to be quite critical of people who allow themselves to become dependent upon the government. To be sure, I still don't have a high opinion of people who accept hand-outs. But when understanding what goes on in Washington, I think you should follow the BIG money. The people that you describe are being duped. They could be much better off under a government envisioned by Ron Paul.

In my area, I even have in basic terms considered 2 signs and symptoms on Ron Paul, granted I hear a ton approximately him on uncooked milk subjects. i do no longer comprehend why you will submit this to those you're in desperate would desire to transform so as to get him elected. There are those dedicated to balloting a undeniable occasion, whilst others are prepared to look in all guidelines previously crossing the line. i'm looking forward to Ron Paul to be a sturdy selection, yet won't be able to say I completely help him as president only yet. I cant help any of them yet and in spite of if I did, i'd probably sense as though I chosen the lesser of two evils...which one might actually help the large pharma, ag, employer lining their wallet and which one wont? do no longer think of we've had one that wont only yet on the two area. The business enterprise I comprehend you're conversing of is amazingly solid at the instant. Falling, yet no longer adequate to truly destroy each thing down for the well-known public to ascertain returned. it somewhat is taking place, besides the undeniable fact that it won't be able to be in adequate time for the well-known public to ascertain to actual opt for this form of exchange by using 2012. We tried that final time and it for sure did no longer artwork...why would we attempt it returned? You particular are not assisting him...form of like the hermain cain smoking advert...

If Ron Paul takes the title I'll mourn the deaths of all of the other Republican candidates because I don't see this happening any other way. At the same time I would rejoice that he beat the Democrats and at least we don't have a socialist/communist in the White House. It would be a very interesting Presidency.

I'd like to hear some of the vitriol from nay sayers, about the rest of the candidates. If they don't like him, they gotta have some good dirt on the rest!

Ron Paul won't take the "title".
Our political system and personal belief system will keep that from happening.
And unless we quit voting the same idiots back into congress (Pelosi, Kennedy(s), Clintons, Levin, and any other career politician), he has no hope of changing things anyway.
Big money owns our government.
Good luck to us all.
