I'm not a Florida fan. And if you look at my posted questions from last year you'd know that I'm not. I've refered to Tim Tebow as the next Matt Jones for cryin' out loud. But he does deserve the Heisman.

My pick is Dennis Dixon. He's a different player this year from last and if nothing else is certainly one of the most improved players in the NCAA this season. He's become THE leader of the Oregon Ducks this year and did not fall apart after the Cal loss-like he/they did last season. Tim Tebow has better stats but not by a huge margin and although I'm a Ducks fan I wouldn't be shocked or too disappointed to see Tebow walk with the hardware although I think the losses for Florida hurts him some. Compare these 2 QB's to Matt Ryan for instance and there's a huge disparity in stats, but the two of them together, well, their numbers are very similar. Still a LOT of ball to be played though so the brass is still up for grabs at this stage of the game I think.

I am a Florida Gators fan and I really want Tim Tebow to win the Heisman but there is a possibility that he may not win it this year. The Heisman voters would like the honor go to a Junior or a Senior player. Tebow will be invited to the ceremony but i think Dixon will win the honor. (I hope i am wrong about this though.)
From your stats, it is a lock that Tim Tebow is the winner.

Tebow should win the Heisman, but probably won't because he is a sophomore. It's not right, but I've seen it given to an inferior Junior or Senior when it was obvious an underclassman was the clear choice.

i would take tebow over all others right now.
i may be a little biased, but tebow is a freak of nature. i dont like it when people dog him just because hes so good. i guess if i was rooting for the other team i would get frustrated too and say he is over-hyped. but the fact is, is that he is not over-hyped. tebow has put up phenominal stats and watching him play is just amazing.

would you like to throw in some running backs? darren mcfadden has been goin nuts lately. if he keeps it up over his next three games hes got a shot. dixon is a winner, thats gotta count for something. and if the heisman went to the player with the most passion and desire, mike hard would win. if florida loses again, tebow is out. if oregon loses again, dixon is out...

Tim Tebow has no shot now in the Heisman race he will finis 2ed no doubt but like you saidDixon is the most popular choice and therfore he will win. I just belive you are basing your decision on how much you like the gator and tebow and not by who is the best player...........

Before he got hurt, I would say Mike Hart. But he's missed too much time so I'll go with Dixon. There is a lot of football left, so this could change.
