Chosen by Grace. Take the exact opposite of most of what he believes and you'll have an atheist.
Seriously, though, I don't really think that one person is a better representative of atheism than another. Atheism is a single belief, whereas atheists are complex people who hold a lot of other beliefs (other than non-belief in God). I don't think a single person could represent the diversity of beliefs that atheists as a whole hold.

Me. Or at least I am my own best representative. Atheists share only a single common trait so no one can represent me except me.
I agree with some on some things and I disagree with some on some things at least as much as I disagree with theists.

The Confirmed Atheist has some great, well thought out questions. I'm a Christian and he really gets me thinking a lot.
I guess it comes down to what you want them to represent- humor, intelligence, open mindedness, etc.

They in actual reality protest hostile to at least something they don't accept as true with, it extremely is each and everything. i do not locate it humorous, basically unhappy that they waste their time. they could call themselves a Baptist church notwithstanding the Baptist Conventions don't like them both and they are no longer linked. they are absolutely the Fred Phelps cult, and that i doesn't call them trolls as they extremely (amazingly) believe they are proper. pink dragon has a level. Fred is a disbarred legal specialist and loves going to regulation about something he can. i'm British, and he and his both deranged daughter Shirley have accomplished the unusual large large difference of being banned from our u . s . after threatening to come back over and wooden a performance of "The Laramie mission". basically about all of us else on that list is a Muslim terrorist.

Ludo is my personal fave! Also: Rev. Soleil and Kilmeded. Both of those men have posted some challenging questions. Too bad the theists have never been up to the challenge.

I'd vote for some one, but I'm not familiar with names or ongoing discussions, so I'll vote for
Me
because I try to respect both sides, and only wish to open Christians minds to logic, not just stating that they could be wrong.
AND I don't hide in ANY closets.

Good question, in all honesty --- Me! Nah, actually there are several good representatives, each with their strengths and occasional off days.
Edit:
I'd say:
Reverend Soleil
The Great Galous (however you spell the green martian's name)
NH Baritone
There are definitely others that I can't recall off the top of my head.

Representative? that is an odd word for atheism don't you think? Ever wonder why you don't have a public face? Atheists hide in closets.
