I'm thinking of putting up sage, peach or burgundy and white drapes?

If you can send me the sites with the color schemes or room displays.

I would suggest "Jersey Cream" by Sherwin Williams. It's a peach-beige & will look very inviting in the living room.

I think everybody is overlooking one really important thing. What do you have in the room? Whatever color you paint the room should go with whatever furniture and knick-knacks you want to keep in the room.

I'd recommend getting the smallest amount of paint you can get of the two or three colors you like most. Then get a couple pieces of cardboard or an old cardboard box and cut it up into about 12"x12" sections. Paint two coats of paint on each piece then slap a ring of painters tape on the back and stick them up on the walls around your furniture and other things in the room.

This gives you nice large samples to look at and compare against your furniture. It makes it so you can actually stand back and see whether it would look good or not.

I think it's incorrect to advise someone blindly without even knowing what they have in the room as far as colors.

Off white is the safest color where you can add furniture/paintings/almost any colors in the room and still look nice.

Tans-sans would be good. Pick your paint color and such from furniture-use brighter or darker colors as accents.
