I don't have any problem copy and pasting JPEGs, but for some reason if I try it with a GIF file the picture just turns out completely blank.
What can I do?

Why I can't answer.. However, assuming that the gif isn't an animated gif file. The solution should be simple. See if you're able to save the picture directly to your computer, and use the image from your computer to you powerpoint presentation.

Assuming that it's an animated gif. You might get the same results (( Blank image )) or a frozen gif image. Hope that helps.

Hi,

Right-click on the picture in Flickr and choose to download or save the picture as a file.

In PowerPoint use Insert > Picture > From File if it is a static picture. If it is an animated gif use Insert > Movie From File (PowerPoint treats animated gif files as movies).

If you have a picture and wanna do something with it, the easiest thing to do is sometimes to take a screenshot of it [print screent key] and copy it to MS paint or whatever. Bleh! happy crimbo
