If you enjoy shopping, I would say definitely go shopping on Queen Street West. It is a very unique area, with many interesting people, and funky stores! There are usually people selling jewelry, art on the sidewalk.

The PATH is Toronto's underground walkway with tons of shopping. Great in the wintertime. Very close to your hotel. Eaton Centre is a huge downtown mall. Lots of great theatres in Toronto, too. Not all hi-brow stuff, either -- Dirty Dancing and We Will Rock You (Queen music) is there in January.

If you're into museums, you have to see the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum), recently remodeled, it looks great, you could easily spend a day inside looking around.

You might also want to take a trip to the top of the CN Tower.
