Why in the world do pay so much for TV when 90% of the channels are packed with commercials.?

Question

1) Basic cable, so you can watch the weather and PBS –PRICE $9
2) Regular cable, over 40 channels ALL with commercials – PRICE $50
3) “Premium” cable, over 100 channels (great! You get to flip between the shopping and the patchwork channel… now you have few more channels for $100…
4) If you are rich package, over 100 + movies subscription or 200 channels and movies subscription (now you are talking, you can access movies free channels (wait a minute…) what about regular TV does it come without commercial? NO! Biip
I am not angry it’s just seams that over the last 5 years it has been all over the place.
My favorite of all still is the “Transformer replay” during the 2007 baseball playoffs.
Mr. & Mrs. Cable Executive I WOULD PAID $139 TO SEE ALL THE CANNELS ONLY IF THEY ARE COMMERCIAL FREE (since you are getting so much money from our subscriptions)…

I know right. I hate commercials, why dont they put them on at the end of the show. Oh yeah I know why. BECAUSE NOBODY WOULD WATCH THEM

Who pays for the shows?

Who pays the actors, studios, script writers, camera men?

The commercials pay for almost ALL television programming.

Without commercials - there would be no television shows.

You might be willing to pay $139/month, but millions of people simply put up an antenna. How do these people help 'pay' for television? Commercials.

I hate commercials as much as the next guy, but without commercials, there would be no television.

those Co. r bunch of monopolizers n if we'd like 2 watch their pathetic classes, we've not got any determination yet 2 pay attention & watch a lot of economic. this is how they stick it 2 US..(their customers). try Verizon n get a 19" liquid crystal demonstrate television 4 loose...or try Optimun n get 2 loose action picture tickets each Tuesday.
