According to B.M.I. charts, I'm underweight. I'm only 14. I still feel flabby! I've lost and inch and a half off my waist in the last week, but almost no weight. This is okay, right? I'm active and starting to train again for Track Season, that's why I'm losing the flab. Give me your advice. (I'm trying to get back to my track body with a 25" waist; I'm 28" right now.

You sound wonderful: while you may need to do some toning through weight-lifting or some other form of resistance; you do not need to lose weight.

cardio and protein. you are under weight, and at the age of 14 what you are seeing is not flab. don't worry about a track waist, just make sure you have track lungs, heart, and muscle! good luck! the body difference between a 13 and a 14 year old is vast. you are still growing so you are going to expand in many different places. just keep active and it will all fall into place.

you are not overweight, i think you know that. you have probably gained some muscle, which is why you haven't lost any weight but lost inches. i wouldn't say you should lose any weight but as long as you are active and doing it healthily then you are fine. from your numbers i can tell you, you are not flabby.

You do not need to lose any weight. Losing the flab is fine as that would be toning but please do not try to lose weight as you are at a pretty low weight already.

I think you're fine! Work on some resistance exercising as well as running for good muscle tone. And you're not flabby, you're still growing!

I run track too, i'm going out for my school's indoor track now...
Don't worry so much about your weight... just worry about getting in shape and exercising! run a lot, eat healthy.. typical stuff.... you are too young to be worrying about your weight so much

You don't need to lose anymore weight.
Ideally you should be between 8stone to 10stone (112Ibs-140Ibs) and you are like half a stone underweight
