Well, take the time to find out about Him. Then it will be easier to decide if that is what you want. Find out what you want out of life and see if God has those same characteristics you are looking for. It takes effort, but it's worth it.

Find a church to get involved in you might have some friends that already attend church and you can go with them. That's a start and you will gradually learn the word of God and be surrounded by others that are searching for the same thing as you. He has already touched you or you wouldn't be seeking him, so just keep pressing forward and you will feel his presence.

Why would any God want to be your #1 priority? That makes no sense!
Your family and your life are your priority. You came here for a reason and it was not to worship a God who already knows you love Him.
the bible is only the fictional words of many many many many men.

The only way to do what it says is to become familiar with what the Bible says. Application to your life.
Prioritize seeking Him in your life.
