I DRIVE ALOT FOR MY WORK, I NOTICED THAT THERE ARE ALOT OF CROSSES ON COUNTRY ROADS WHERE PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENTS, WHEN THE CORN IS GROWN HIGH, MOSTLY NO STOP SIGNS ON CO.ROAD INTERSECTIONS, YOU CAN NOT SEE ON COMMING CARS. IF FARMERS DID NOT GROW THE CORN ON THE CORNER OF A INTERSECTION IT COULD SAVE 1000'S OF LIVES. MY HUSBAND DOESNT EVEN YEILD AT THOSE INTERSECTIONS.

I don't have anything against Farmers, they deserve alot more income for farming. The point is to save peoples lives, alot of drunk teenagers drive thru Co roads speeding. Gov't should pass law for safety reasons.

You're absolutely correct. It's not only farmers and corn, but many people in cities have tall hedges or overgrown shrubs near intersections that block the view of drivers.

People should use common sense when planting, and avoid any type of vegetation that could obscure someone's view. Unfortunately, they don't. Some restrictions need to be put in place.

If you do not like what the farmer (who owns and pays for his property) is doing with his private property, there is a simple solution. Figure out how much of his land you want him to take out of production, and how much money he makes now selling the corn from that area!

Get together with others who feel like you do, and collect at least than amount of money. Go talk to the farmer and offer him the cash value of his crop to not plant it. He will take the deal!

Farmers and other businesses pay for the land, and use it to produce goods and or services that they sell. This is how they make money! You want to force someone to reduce their income because you have a problem seeing oncoming traffic?

Slow down, take another route, or pay the farmer! Do not try to take his land for free! Rather than looking for a governmental solution, let the free market solve the problem.

i doubt you could stop the farmer from doing growing his corn where he wants. but perhaps if people asked for stop signs at the intersections they would get them. and just as a comment there is nothing to stop people from stopping at one of those intersections if they feel like it and it would be safer that way to.
