OMG did that bring back childhood
memories.
I personally do not care for cursing
because it makes the person sound
uneducated when they can not use
more appropriate words to get
their point across.
As far as what should be done
I think just to record them and
play it back to them this way
they can heard how
uneducated it sounds.
Again this is just my opinion.

People swear in everyday speech because they have a limited vocabulary. Their mouths shouldn't be washed out. Instead, they should be given a few good books and a dictionary or they should be offered free English (language) classes.

no it shouldn't . I hate it when ppl correct me when I curse. If I want to swear, I have the right to do so. The other day, we were at a meeting and my hubby, a diabetic, was having trouble getting his supplies, and then the woman asked him why he wasn't taking care of himself, ( this is a sore spot with him, BTW), he told her why, and he got upset. She told him, in HER office, he could not swear, so he said he was sorry. Later on, I made sure that woman heard me swear, and i told her, if I wanted to swear, I could do so, I was free, over 21 and i had freedom of speech. i could tell she was mad, but what could she do?? Freedom of speech gives us the right to swear, it has nothing to do with intelligence. I hate the drivel that ppl spew but what can I do?? It falls under the freedom of speech act.
