This question has plagued my mind for years, I know this all these luke - warm christians, that are completely not doing what the bible says, and every time i see them new great things happen to them!

My prayers almost never get answered, I haven't broken a commandment (10 commandments ) In i don't know how long....Ive read the bible at least 6 times now....pray every night, but nothing....

I use to get all my prayers answered its weird, but ever since I got baptized and became super holy - nothing but persecution.

My life got real bad in the summer, and this certain person was on my back,so i turned Satan, since God wasn't helping and simply told him to get them off my back...then i heard they broke out in puss hives and was in the hospital for 2 weeks after i said that, off of a serious infection ( i thought of how job was attacked by the devil ) I learned my lesson...

Anybody ever went through this? Nothing Answered ?

The closer you get to God the bigger the battle it is. God could be testing you to see if he took away something from you would you still follow him.

Seriously, the fact that you honestly believe you have not broken a commandment in "I don't know how long" is quite a proud thing to say. We are all law breakers on some level. The commandments were given to us to mold us, and to show us that though we strive to attain, we fall short of following the law. Jesus came to fulfill the law. Your prayers are being answered, just not in the ways you wish for them to be answered. God tests us, he rifines us by fire, by trials. What kind of person will you be through this testing? What will this show of your character , or your faithfulness...

We are here for an education... the world owes us nothing... and so everything we get in this life is a "blessing".... You are not "owed" food on your table tonight.. you are not "owed" good health... or sanity... or love... or life for that matter.... What i believe ( and I subscribe to no "brand name religion" because each one dooms the others )... is that Today is a gift... what i do with it is my choice... if I seek to enjoy everything about this day... appreciate that I woke up this morning... that I have a roof over my head... people that love me and am in good health... my point of view allows me the freedom from wasting time wanting whatever it is that I DON'T have... and allows me to feel as though I have something to give... when you come from that perspective good things come to you... because you don't believe in "bad things"... only obstacles and opportunities for learning... and growth...

... So my advice to you would be... pray for happiness... not for what you think will make you happy... pray for growth and understanding... and surrender the shackles of a bible written by man to control man... over 2000 years ago... with an education equivalent to second grade....

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever more.

This means he holds no absolution. He loves all creatures whether great or small.

As for your prayers going unanswered, all prayers are eventually answered, some take more time than others to be answered.

Neither God nor Satan exist.

Whether you succeed or fail in your life goals depends on your own work, on who you know, and on the environment you're in. Of course, with the best effort and best situation, crap still happens.

It really doesn't have to do with whether you believe in one religious superstition or another.
