My 15+ year old Gold Star color TV no longer comes in color; picture is now in B/W & sound is good. Is it age

Sat. night color was perfect; when I turned it on Sunday morning everything was in black and white...picture and sound is fine but no more color. Given its age is it worth repairing?

It is not worth the cost of having it repaired.

Before giving up there are couple of things to try:

The TV may have a button to turn automatic adjustment off and on, check to see if this was accidentally turned off.

This TV may be old enough to have physical pots (little knobs) to adjust the color. Try rotating these a few times to see if they are just dirty.

If all else fails, giving the TV a good firm smack sometimes works.
