Properly wrapped poultry can be kept for up to one year if it is frozen below 0 degrees F. Keep whole uncooked turkeys in their original packaging when you freeze them.

If you have any question about it, throw it out. You don't want to give 6 relatives food poison. :-) Besides, turkeys are not that expensive. Get another one that you can be sure of.

i am sorry to say ,but after a year you probably have freezer burn which is not going to make the texture of the bird very tasty, you could call the turkey hotline they should beable to tell you, but the old saying in the food industry, when in dought throw it out!

It won't kill you or anything, but be prepared for it to have some freezer burn spots and maybe have absorbed some off-flavors from your freezer.
