This Q is based on Ephesians 1:3-14: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ... In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ... In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding... In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit..." etc.

Do you have TWO addresses:- "I live in... [Plymouth, or wherever] and I live in Christ"?

(This Q is NOT about predestination!)

Yep and its pretty interesting too! Jesus in me, the hope of glory. He is my glory, my God, my friend, my best big brother, my teacher. He's just so wonderful.

He told me that I should expect tribulation in this world (which is major hardship/trouble), but to relax about it because He has overcome the world. I've gone through some hard times and may go through much worse, but I'll never go through hardship alone!

Grace & Peace unto you from God OF & Lord JC.

Yes, but for clarity it's in C of J-->C, not C of C<--J.
Note Pauline use of both CJ & JC in Ephesians 1,
and which one that Paul is notably "an apostle of".

Only forgiveness plausible is via C: the end of the law,
which speaks of the end of law IMPuting sin and death;
The end of know nots always err & expect forgiveness,
expecting to be declared innocent by reason of in-sanity.

Two addresses speaks of My God, my God = "forsaken".
One address speaks of I will never leave nor forsake you.

Charity never faileth is notably above forgiving one another.

So let's get it all right, not some right and some left behind.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

It is really silly to ask about two addresses -- physical address has nothing to do with being "in Christ", as I think you are aware.

But, being "in Christ" may not be the safest place to be (missionaries get killed all the time; because, there is no greater gift than to give up your life as Christ gave up His -- and that doesn't mean to be crucified on a wooden cross); however, it is the BEST place to be.

Every Christian is "in Christ." To say you are "in Christ" means you are a part of the community of believers.

This is not a physical or spiritual address but this is a spiritual state. This means I am a clothed with Christ. This means Christ is my brother and God is my Father. This means I am a part of the family of God!!!!

I think I'd feel marginally safer living in a suitably equipped nuclear fallout bunker.

Though in the context you refer to, I have many addresses - I live right here, on earth, in very tangible buildings. But at various times in my life I have known what it is to live in hope and despair and in happiness and sadness at the same time as occupying material places.

Don't we all at some time or another?

It isn't really a difficult metaphor to grasp, is it?

Sorry, until there is proof or even evidence to back up your fundamental premise that a god exists, I'd say that "being in Christ" is no safer than any other frame of mind.

'The entire universe is in Him', is the premise. The question then becomes irrelevant. If that premise is not granted, that would limit Christ. In that case as well, the question is irrelevant.

Only if you consider living inside your own head as the safest place to be. What exactly do you want to be "safe" from?

Yes... it is OK to be in Christ... but you must be hot or cold otherwise he will puke you out of his mouth!!! and only a dog returns to eat his vomit! you'd be out of Christ in no time!
