There are no real prophets. Men have traditionally been the ones to claim they are prophets because those religions were made up in heavily patriarchal societies.
In other societies, women were the seers, such as with the Greeks and their Oracle of Dephi. The Igbo people of southeastern Nigeria in Africa also tended to use female oracles.

If you are referring to Hebrew women prophets, there is an interesting story in the book of Judges (in the King James Bible) about a woman named Deborah. People came to her for answers and justice because of her great wisdom. She spent most of her time meeting their needs, judging under a tree known throughout Israel as 'the Palm of Deborah' (Judges 4:5).
Mosaic Law did not prohibit women from taking responsibilities ordinarily reserved for men. Deborah was one of the wisest people in Israel, so she became the judge. She called herself 'a mother in Israel' (Judges 5:7).
It does not say, however, that she was a prophet, so she doesn't fall into that category.
The Seventh-Day Adventists had what they referred to as a 'latter day prophetess' and her name was Ellen G. White. You can look up her name because she has authored several books.

Yes, Debora, Lydia, Huldah, Noadiah, Isaiah's wife, Elizabeth, Anna, The Daughter of Philip, Jezebel, and I'm sorry there are many more. God did not say that Women could not preach the Gospel, Women can not Pastor, because the Pastor is Head of the Church and Women can not be the Head of the Man. That's not me speaking, that's Gospel

According to most religions no, but according to the bible YES! Her name was Anna, you can find her in Luke 2:36, i guess that puts down if women don't have a part in the plan.

There are several 'Signs' of Prophecy. One is a communication with Allah. Four exalted Ladies of Virtue have been honoured with Divine messages. They are : Lady Maryam the mother of Jesus Christ; Lady Aasiya the wife of Pharaoh who saved Holy Prophet Moosa(Moses)' ; Lady Hajra the mother of Holy Prophet Ismaeel(Ishmael); Lady Hawwa (Eve) the grand mother of us all .

there must be , but maybe the reason for the lack of women prophets is two fold , prophets go around nude. and the bible is very chauvinistic.
