With my job, not only do I eat at restaurants twice a day, but I eat socially with my coworkers. This means that I eat greasy food with large portions. In my work area, I only have choices between Chinese food and McDonalds. I would order a salad or sandwich if it were an option. With little time to exercise, I’ve found myself slowly gaining weight. What can I do?

As a member of weight watchers they teach us to always research where we eat out before you get there. So you already have a healthy choice picked out and aren't making decisions based on your hunger.
And every restaurant has something that can be tweaked to be better for you.

Try packing your lunch, that way you know what you are having is good and then just eat out with coworkers on Friday for a treat. But eating out everyday is just not a good way to be healthy and lose weight.

there are websites that you can go on to see the nutritional facts of everything they have..i know for sure mcdonalds even has them in the restaurant. i looked at it and i was really suprised how much some things had..but other things didnt have as much as i would have thought. what i do is i decide how many calories i am going to eat there, then look at the nutritional menus and order it according to the calories they have.

okay so there it is..and if i say i want to eat around 500 calories for lunch i would just look at it and i would probably have a ranch snack wrap (270) and french fries (250) and maybe get a water or a diet coke or something.
also the salads if you dont get hcicken are pretty healthy.

as for chinese i know that they have a lot of things with vegetables and also there is shrimp which i know if healthy. for there i would just try to avoid anything with sauce because i know that sauces at those places are just packed with sugar.

If you MUST eat greasy, don't eat all of it. If you eat at a restaurant that serves salad (not drenched in dressing) or clear soups, go with that. Even places like Chick-Fil-A serve chicken noodle soup and salads, McDonalds sells salads. Every place serves something good. The trick is that you need to start choosing them instead of eating the bad stuff. I know it sucks to see everyone else eating a bacon cheeseburger and coke, but you are not trying to be like everyone else. You're trying to stay out of fatty pants. One plus one is two. Either exercise more or eat less.

Well stick to your healthy diet start bringing salads and healthy snacks in...do 2 - 4 workouts a week stretch before & after.
only drink water.. ..you can order water from any restaurant its all you need!(I lost 4k in a month just drinking water & my skin glowed, and yes that morning coffee is banned).
as for the having to eat out have 300 calories a day for snacks that means you can have some chicken nuggets without feeling left out but not a whole big greasy meal.

If you only have McDonald's and Chinese food to choose between for lunch, you still have healthy options. McDonald's offers a few different kinds of salads and if you go for Chinese order steamed veggies in place of rice. Avoid the fried foods at both places. And any restaurant that you go to will have healthy salads, sandwiches, wraps, etc. If you want to order something that is not particularly healthy, ask the waiter for a few changes. For example, a baked potato instead of french fries or a plain baked potato instead of one with bacon and sour cream. Restaurants are usually pretty good about accommodating your requests.

it certainly relies upon on what style of cereal. Stray faraway from cereal crammed with sugars. decide for something like Kellogs. on your sandwich, consume it on wheat bread, get miracle whip particularly of mayo, get particularly sliced meat, not that preserved stuff in programs. i might additionally recommend staying faraway from the pizza, and the pasta (except you get entire wheat and consume some cup, and have some salad and/or rooster-turkey with it). There are a ton of greater healthy techniques to what you're eating presently, you may circulate on line and locate 1000's of healthful recipes. determining by no potential hurts the two. in the journey that your intake quite isnt that undesirable and you're eating reasonable sized parts, then determining will particularly assist you decrease weight.

McDonald's you can order salads. Opt for a low-fat dressing. If you feel like a change, get a Happy Meal. Ask for the apple dippers they are a good option. As for Chinese food, order everythign steamed.....steamed veggies and chicken, no msg, no sauce. Carry fruit with you and slimfast bars and drinks can be left in your desk at the office. You will be fine.

Bring yourself lunch from home.
A healthy one.
the process of gaining weight is simple math.
It all about burning or gaining more calories that you take in.
Therefore either try to take in less calories, or burn off more of them.

THE LEAST you could possibly do is bring yourself a water bottle. God knows those soft drink are the worst poison you can put in your body. and trust me, water does you good in losing weight. It helps clean out your body from all those toxins.

They have healthy choices at McDonalds. Lots of salads and grilled Chicken sandwiches (dump the bun). If you want to do it you will. Take an extra 2 minutes today and look the whole menu over.

Here is a Healthy McDonalds site.

Bring veggies to work with you and put in the frig. McDonald have salads here, do they in your area? I dont think there is much Chinese food that will help, except a small portion on white rice, but thats boring.. definatly bring the veggies to work, and maybe some of the yummier rice cakes too. And drink water.. lots of water.
