I think it was Friday...?
(I live right by a really really big temple. All the Indians who live in my complex go there - I'm not sure of the religion and I don't want to assume...)
anyways, there was a super HUGE celebration with fireworks and it was obviously a really important day for that religion. I was just wondering if anyone knew what it was.

Diwali, which is now a recognized holiday in the U.S. Yay!!

Lucky you that you live right near a temple. I have to travel 1 1/2 hrs to get to the closest one...we need more Hindu temples!!
