... at least they can't blame the Israelis (Jews) for this... or can they?

I'm sure they'll find a way!

The world ordered Israel to leave Gaza. Israel argued that if she left, her citizens would come under fresh attacks from groups such as Islamic Jihad and Hamas. But in the end, Israel left.

Within hours, Hamas was gunning down any Palestinians that refused to support it, and also members of rival group Fatah.

In addition, Israelis came under renewed rocket attacks, launched from militants in Gaza.

Meanwhile, did you know that Israel STILL supplies Gaza with free water, electricity and fuel?

What other country would we expect to help the very people attacking its' citizens?

Israel is now not in Gaza and all the violence there is nothing to do with her.

EDIT SPARKLE

OK, and you can tell your views to the pregnant Israeli woman and mother of four who was killed by a rocket launched from Gaza by Islamic Jihad. The only actions by Israel are self defence. I realise you'd prefer Israelis to just roll over and let themselves be attacked, but that 'aint gonna happen!

As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.

Insha'Allah, one should be careful when they rely on the Western media for their source of information regarding anything that occurs in the Middle East.

If one should seek out and gather information from those sources that report primarily to the Arab world of the Middle East, one finds that the story is a bit different.

Fatah says the Hamas fired on them.

Hamas says that Fatah gunmen opened fire from a roof top.

Both sides agree that once the shooting started, regardless of who shot first, many persons and groups of persons began firing. (Such stupidity may be one of the best arguements I can think of for strict gun control as "moneky see/ monkey do" with firearms and live rounds is, "more often than not" disasterous!)

Can the Israelis be blamed for this incident?

Who stole the land from the Palestinians with the aid of the British and Americans, as well as with tacit approval by most of the European nations?

Who has since (with full approval and support of the United States and her European allies), deprived the remaining Palestinians of home, economy and economic opportunities, health services, freedom of movement and even electricity(!) which has lead to many impoverished and frustrated persons finally turing to violence as a means (although a futile one) in seeking some symblance of "justice"?

Who has also created such events by the use of "secret" police and military units of her armed forces so as to create the appearance of and disruption amongts her declared "enemies"?

Who has refused all international calls for a peaceful settlement of this long ongoing conflict while the government of the same now looks blinding upon the expansion of the settlements in the occupied lands that belong to the Palestinians, again, as the international community calls for a halt to the same practices?

This list could go on for quite a while with more historically documented examples of who is and has been doing what to whom. Interestingly enough, those who have accepted the media propaganda, lies and outright distortions of these facts as well as those who have some personal ties (either religious or ethnic) to one of the countries so involved will decry and deny theses facts. However, as I said earlier, these are historically documented facts. (I am also expecting virtually nothing but "thumbs down" for this post...c'est la vie!)

Is Israel to blame for this event and the current situation? I would say that at least in some ways, yes. I would also say that the Palestinians themselves may also be some of their own worst enemies by failing to allow cooler heads to prevail and working with the international community so as to put enough pressure on Israel to force them to change their policies.

Ma'a salaam.

War is created by people. No god will create war. In the name of god to do some purpose, actually is his own willing.
