He has had seizures for a little over a year, almost one every month, latley theyve been occuring daily, and today I went to check on him and it was like he didn't know me. He dodges ad walks away when I try to pet him, and he doesn't respond to things I normally say, or games I play with him. He does respond to his name but that seems to be it. He is a 3 year old German Sheperd around 140 lbs.

You did not say if the dog has seen a vet and is on meds and if so, what type. This is VERY serious.

When a dog has seizures this frequently, it can kill the dog.

Please talk to your vet about this.

Wow how sad, I can't imagine a dog having that many seizures. Well eventually all that will take its toll on his brain. Seems as though maybe it has done that. Is he left out where neighbors can be mean to him? Terrible thought but, you never know when you are away. Hopefully you have already had him to the vet many times for this...I am sorry your dog is going thru this..and you with him....Good Luck
