I was thinking about this question because I think some people just don't see God as even a possiblity of existing. Why does God ask us to have faith? Couldn't we just choose Him after he made clear He is God and whatever else we didn't understand? I see an advantage in ignorance since you cannot be blamed for what you don't know. But I don't think this entirely answers the question. What is the dead-on answer, if there is any? Thanks for the thoughts. If you have sources, please let me know.

We need to decide and He lets us to make up are mind. If I KNEW that God existed I wouldn't ever do something to displease Him nor would the majority of people. We would be like robots. He gave us free will and because of that He won't talk to those that don't want to talk to Him. Nevertheless He still loves us all and wishes all of us to be with Him. That's the reason we were created in the first place.
