a lot of the people who go to prison find jail house religion.
it's either because they think it help them get out, or they just need something so bad while in there.
i don't think that you can put a deity in prison, and i don't think that he's been presented accurately. at least i hope not.
either way he isn't a deity that i would choose to follow.
bright blessings to you

I have a 'cousin' who had a terrible childhood, stayed in and out of trouble for years, 'found God' and then promptly went about upsetting my g'prnts (who had adopted him after his mother abandonded him) so much, they finally had him arrested. Good to know God will be in his head while he learns new and interesting ways to betray those who stood by him for years.

Is it an atheist's job to put a God they don't believe in into prison?
What a mixed up world atheists must live in.

Nope...he's on the steps of the prison exit. That's where they leave him when they get out.

They finally find God in prison because they get to think in there more seriously about life and where it is taking them.
They also find God in there because they are denied him in schools today and have been for quite some time. They are not even allowed to read the Bible at school; so the Commos have a Russian-like hold in schools.
Finally, when they get to prison they are finally given Bibles!
Hey Pal; try this:
What you’re not being honest about is what is limiting your intelligence on this issue.
There are 2 key forces out there – not only one. Satan whispers in ALL of our minds and hearts that, “There is no Satan. He does not exist.” And you have simply fallen for it.
That is the strength of this whole situation.
You therefore pretend that much of what he is causing is God’s doing!
Now, you say, “But what about people suffering from physical illness and even death?”
Again, our nemesis, Satan – combined, of course, with our own choice as human beings.
I’m sure, since you know the Bible you like to berate, and discredit, you recall the account of the Fall of Adam and Eve and Creation.
Let’s lay some foundation upon it:
God, being perfect, could not create a ‘fallen’, imperfect world.
So when He created Adam and Eve there was no disease, pain or death. Neither was there evil or heartache; in fact, God walked and talked with Adam in the garden.
He gave him advice and counsel.
But the key factor was that He told Adam, in effect, “I have created this earth for you – in all its innocence and, IF YOU CHOOSE SO, it will remain like this forever and you will live forever.” In order for that to happen and to complete His work of making that ‘forever world’ [because what God does is always permanent], He also had to give instruction to Adam and Eve not to partake of the tree that would bring death upon them.
But He put that “TREE OF CHOICE” there because in all fairness to Adam He did not want to force Adam to live as He (God) wanted, but to allow Adam to make his own choice as to his lifestyle – to choose for himself what type of world he wished to live in.
In doing so, He warned him that in the day he made that choice, he would “surely die” – and all his posterity, therefore.
Now, death, to God, is all inclusive – which means Adam could no longer be with, talk with or see God; he also, therefore, having lost his innocence, was spiritually dead and cut off from the presence of God the Father.
In further fairness re the whole concept, an equally effective force for evil was in place – Satan.
Satan used the physical serpent to address Adam and Eve for his plan.
They, being too weak to maintain that purer choice to follow God, fell for his plan, and chose the fallen existence for themselves and their posterity.
Basically, they were not perfect or strong enough to maintain the indefinite integrity to follow God’s offer no matter what, and I believe ANY of us would have had the same difficulty they had! So we cannot blame them.
Satan and the couple, between them, introduced the terrible conditions we face today.
BUT, the difference between Satan’s ‘works’ and God’s works is that Satan’s are not permanent.
Adam and those faithful to God over the millennia since have repented of their weakened fallen choices in life and wish to ‘re-live’, you might say, and therefore, God will yet have mercy upon them, and upon all mankind, insofar as all of life will be resurrected. As all things God does will are forever, everything shall be physically redeemed – for he is a ‘forever God’.
In order to allow for this in the whole plan, Jesus, being so pure and full of grace and truth, offered Himself as a ‘Bridge’ between fallen man and the Father, in order that those who want to may cross over and to return to God’s presence.
Through His immense love for all Mankind – for all of us, He paid the eternal price only a pure soul could pay for the salvation and redemption of all men.
ALL shall be saved from the physical death wrought upon us by Satan, and those who choose so shall also be redeemed from the spiritual death and may return to live in Heaven with God – but much wiser, stronger, more loving, more experienced, merciful and helpful than how they left it at the time of their birth here. Just think how much you’ve grown since being a baby.
