PREFACE: According to opensecrets.org,
incumbent re-election rates in the US Senate
have been 85% and in the US House have been 95%
during 1980-2006.

MY QUESTION:
What have they been in other democracies such as India, Australia, etc?

I found an unsourced unsubstantiated
claim in a TomPaine.com OpEd
saying in Canada it was 83%.
