Just because I'm a Jimmie Johnson fan doesn't mean that Jeff Gordon is my next favorite. However, I really appreciated watching the 24 car win earlier because we are watching NASCAR history in the making. Now his teammate and employee is the one in the spotlight again. I feel privileged to see that type of effort and consistent performance that is more rare these days with the rules and cars they use now. Maybe some people will get over their hate enough to take in what may not come around again for a very long time? Many fans forget how disliked Dale Sr. was when he was the dominant driver in the cup series and success will always bring envy but I think most fans appreciated the talent and effort he brought to the race track every week. I only hope that if you don't like Jimmie that you can at least respect him.

Well being not a JJ fan but I will admit that in today's scheme of things 10 races is pretty good but amazing I think not. When you are on top of your game things like this happen. Lets face it it is a well funded team with all the high tech stuff and plenty of backers to put the top notch equipment in his car week after week.
By the way thanks for not mentioning the word chase. I love the word championship without that disgusting word attached to it.

He ROCKS!!! The 48 team is awesome hands down! Chad and Jimmie just have what it takes calling the shots...they are amazing!
Let's not forget that possibility of the record breaking 5 in a row, but lets just hope they play it safe and get the championship...I'm just hoping for a top 18, just to be safe!!!

Yeah I so agree. People should give credit where credit is due. When you are good you are good. Holding momentum from last year. This guy has never been outside the top 5 in points at the end of a season. Go Jimmie!

His team has performed very well this whole chase. All the key elements have fallen into place....pit stops, strategies, the car is dialed in each week, and amazing calls by Chad. Jimmie had drove smart, and drove his heart out. Ten wins is nothing to sneeze at whether a person likes him or not.

Well, let's put it this way: we haven't seen a season like this since 1998 when his buddy Jeff Gordon won four in a row and 13 races.
Not the best season ever, but a run of dominance like we haven't seen in a long time.

I think he is awesome. I have been a fan of his since he started racing Nascar.
I think what makes him a good driver is his team and being part of Hendricks. I love Dale Jr. too and I am very excited he is joining Hendricks....I think he will be the one to watch next year!

Yeah, his season is amazing. Jeff Gordon's is more amazing because his win count isn't comparable to his 'finishes off the lead lap' count.
