..How does it fell celebrating Christmas by the beach, while swimming, sunbathing, dressed as light as you can.
Does it look strange to you that Santa is coming from snow, dressed heavily and all Xmas literature is about cold, snow and fireplaces??

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas like them. It's quite lovely here during that time. We celebrate the longest Christmas in the world. From Dec.16 to Jan. 6.

Living in South Texas, you don't see a white Christmas. However, about four years ago, we were blessed with one. It was awesome!!! However, I wouldn't want it around all the time. Guess that is why I live down in the south.
To answer your question, it sucks on Christmas day when it's 80 degrees outside and you have to turn on the a/c to get that "chilly" feeling.

No trouble singing the song, as I am a huge Bing Crosby fan, but in regard to missing the snow, etc. when you've never experienced it, you don't really miss it. I think if I ever had a snowy Christmas season, it would be a real eye-opener for me.

I much prefer celebrating Christmas where it's cold and where there's snow on the ground. It just doesn't feel the same when it's 70 - 75F outside. Oh well...

I love all that stuff - snow on cards, carols, also the fact you have ice in the esky, seafood, and a degree of heat inside
that forbids all forms of cooking!
