This is the Roman Catholic version, but I'm guessing your wondering about self-indulgence. Meaning, doing something or using something more than its healthy to do. Most people refer self-indulgence to overeating, but it can be used in any context(doesn't just have to relate to food).

Eating more than you should (is an example). Indulgence is doing too much of anything for the sake of enjoyment.
