i was. i was friends with this guy and asked me out and when i turned him down( and i did it gently, i wasn't rude or anything), he started following me. the thing was that he lived near my house and we went to the same college, he never used to sit with my friends and he used to always go home straight after class, but i used to stay back with friends and go out for coffee. after i turned him down, he suddenly started hanging with my friends and staying back and coming out for coffee with us!!! one day he stayed back( without me knowing) and he followed me to the bus. but i didn't talk to him. then at the bus station he disappeared and i thought it was a coincidence. but when i got off the bus near my house, he got off at the next stop( so he was on the bus the whole time( and by the way he never used to catch this bus coz he used to go to his mums work and get a lift with her). after he got off the bus, he punched a fence, threw his bag on the foot path and started kicking it. i got sooo creeped out. i told all my guy friends at school and i told the security guard as well.
for two weeks i was scared of walking to the bus stop from school( the stop was 15 mins away). and one of my guy friends would walk me and catch the bus with me and wait with me to get on my other bus home.
after a while he stopped following me. and i hardly ever saw him. but the creepy thing was that he'd told me once he got pissed off at his step dad and he got a knife to threaten him and to control himself from stabbing him he ripped the couch with the knife. (psycho!!).
after wards i found out through friends that he'd been going around to people telling them that i was his ex girlfriend and that i'm evil and i broke his heart,what the Heck!!.
ne ways there's my story. i'm glad that i had lots of people who cared enough about me to take it seriously and not brush it off. he clouldn't get close to me coz i wouldn't walk by myself any more.

Yes! This creepy man in a red car! He approach me once asking me something about frozen food while at Kroger. I started to see him everywhere especially at Kroger. I pretended to go to my car, while watching him get in this red car. I went over took cell phone pictures of him and his car, cursing his a** out at the same time. If he was or was not a stalker he didn't show up around me any more.

Yep, and I didn't like it at all. He even knocked on my door, told me I was fit and that if I wasn't married he would love to go out with me. I used to double check he wasn't around every time I walked out my door. He lived on my street. In the end, my hubby who is 6.3 and built like a brick s h i t house had a quiet word with him. There were no problems after that. Sadly I am no longer fit, so its unlikely to happen anymore. lol

In real life, only when out with my ex-fiancee and her real life stalker followed us around ......... The courts soon put a stop to that

No, and I hope I never am stalked.
I would hate to have a person watching my every move watching what I do who my friends are.
