Last month she went for a mamagram and when they checked her breasts, they told her they found two tiny white spots. They wanted to put two chips in her breast to show where these spots are and if they prove to be negative, they said they will know when they see the chips that the spots don't mean anything is wrong. My question is why can't they just mark their charts and records that the spots don't mean anything. I would never let them put two chips in my breast. Is this something new? I never heard of it before. I think it's rediculous. Please let me know if you heard of it and if you think it's a good idea, especially if you are a doctor.

These are probably saturated with a nuclear material. The nuclear material "lights up" on Sentinel tests and Pet scans to locate the cancers.

We have had the frightening experience this summer to have to learn about cancer testing and treatment.

Interestingly enough the cancer cells require sugar to grow, so they mix the sugar and the nuclear material, if the cells draw in the mixture, they are probably cancer cells. The nuclear material just lets it be seen clearly.

My husband had the nuclear material injected at the sight of his melanoma on his scalp and then they watch to see where it goes. As into the lymph nodes and other cancer locations. In his case it was in the cheek area in the pirated gland. (salivary gland) Now we are at wait and see, with another pet scan in January.

Good Luck with your decision. ASK QUESTIONS. Search the Internet, BE INFORMED. IT IS IMPORTANT.

It is expensive, but cancer spreads from tissue to bone or organs if it is not found and removed early.

IT IS YOUR BABY GIRL YOU KNOW.
