Well there is no specific way to say it. When the time is right, just say exactly how you feel, be completely honesy. Say how long you've felt this way, how come you feel that way, and just say you really care about them. If they don't feel the same way, don't worry. just don't let it ruin the relationship and don't freak out. so just be honest and whatever happens happens. Good luck :)

My boyfriend and I were just friends for 2 years before he came over and sat down on the sofa. He said that he had been thinking and would like to try to date. I was so relieved. I wanted to date him prior but I had to wait until he was ready.

He told me what he expected out of a dating relationship. He said he was interested in going out and doing things together and having fun experiencing the world together. We decided to try dating and have been dating about a year now. No physical relationship involved because we didn't want the emotions of that getting in our way of really getting to know each other.

be very honest and tell them the truth. also make it clear that even if they don't think of you in the same way, you don't want to ruin your friendship. if they do think of you in that way, also be careful not to let the fact that you two are in a more serious relationship make you lose sight of why you loved this person in the first place. Good Luck!

what about just simply spelling out to her? are you afraid that she may reject you, then either she will soon or later. if you are having problems saying it out to her what about actions? such as buying her an provoking gift, what about asking a close friend to tell her? what about doing it anonymously?

sure.
you ask from him or her that to whom he/she loves most?what she will reply then you ask how much the same person love her/him? then you say that some one love you more than that freinds love. And when she ask who is that then you bow down and say "this is me".
