Amanda Knox is implicated in the killing of a British student. She initially denied she was in the apartment where she was killed on that night, then she confirmed she was in the apartment but had nothing to do with the killing.
Now according to her lawyers she is sticking to her first story and saying that she was never at the apartment at all that night.
Just one problem ........ police have just discovered CCTV footage that shows her entering the apartment at 8:43pm.
And as they say in the Metro:
'A police source in Perugia, said: "It will be interesting to see what she has to say when we show her the footage."
Oh dear ....... looks like she's going to need to tell a 4th version of the story now to get around this.

Firefoxy - Dont worry I will be commenting on the McCanns as well, but its a little quiet on that front at the moment, so Im waiting on developments so that we can haul Gerry and Kate in and at least do them for child neglect. They are still scum in book, dont worry about that.

Hurricane - agreed, it would make life so much easier ......... Gerry and Kate are clearly hiding something but had the good fortune to be in a place with virtually no CCTV cameras and a lax police force.

What a stupid stupid girl. She doesn't even realise she implicates herself further every time she opens her lying mouth. She's completely nutty - how can she claim to have 'heard' Lumumba kill her, and then say: "I go back to my first story. I wasn't there"??
So if her first story was 'true' - then she accused an innocent man of killing Meredith - if her second story is true, then she allowed another human being to be degraded and terrified beyond belief (while 'blocking' her ears) and left her dying in horrific circumstances.
Skip the 3rd story (same as the 1st!!) - but now she's been caught by CCTV going into the house that night? What the hell??? She's a pathological liar by what we've seen so far and I feel very strongly that she was all for it.
Everything links to her, and I don't think for a second she was 'coerced' by the men - I think she hated Meredith and was jealous of her, and thought it would be 'fun' to scare her. I don't think it was premeditated, but even so - for a young girl to participate in such a violent act towards another young girl shows quite clearly the kind of dark and twisted person that lurked underneath.
She's dug her own grave with her lies and accusations against a 'possibly' innocent man, now let's hope she's buried in that same grave.
For what it's worth - I think only her and Lumumba were involved at this stage. The Italian covered for her which was stupid - but he soon realised his error and changed his statement. I think he got sucked into giving her an alibi and then regretted it soon after.
Of course, it may turn out he was involved too - but at this stage I think it's her and Lumumba. From people I've talked to, it's clear we all have different theories!

Dave, this story really shocked me, this Knox chick is an absolute lunatic, as is her scummy boyfriend and the weirdo barman. The poor girl was only 18 years old and had her whole life ahead of her, and her so called "friend" arranged for her to be raped, tortured and held her down while this was happening. I can't comprehend the fear and distress she must have gone through. Throw the book at the bi1ch!! What a psycopath.

hi I am italian, now Italian police has found Meredith's DNA on the sharp of a knife together with Amanda's one.
I hope police will find the killer as soon as possible.
Amanda is in jail and she spend her whole day reading the bible and talking with the priest of the city.

She is vile. How can she live with herself having ruined that family's life and having been involved in killing Meredith? Its totally clear she is involved. I thought when she admitted it she did feel one emotion - shame - but now she has spoken to a lawyer and is going for 'not guilty' she has proved what a evil wicked person she is. She let Meredith writh around in agony for hours behind a locked door as she lay dying from her wounds having been violently assaulted and raped.
She owes the family the truth and to take her punishment for what she has been involved with.
Next she will say the guys brain washed her into it and she is just a 'girl manipulated' - what a load of sh*te......

I think this case is sickening and very sad, a young life has been lost and i hope they get to the bottom of the case.
it does seem the italian police are very much on the ball in thisc ase, but i think from very early on it was quite obvious that the housemate had soemthing to do with it

Am not familiar with this case but looks like as you've got your teeth well into this one...we'll soon have all the gritty details to gnaw into...
From your narration all i can say is this...
She should've definitely stuck to her first story which hopefully was the truth...but then maybe it wasn't the truth...maybe she was so spooked & panicked that she lied to save herself...maybe then she had a change of heart & told the truth...which was her 2nd story... So...um...would you prefer that she stuck to her first story which was not the truth or would you prefer that she changes her story TO the truth....???
Am sure as the future unfolds there will be many varied versions of the first story...also duly embroidered by the media....but then...we will wait for you to do the honours & update us...

Wonderful how they have gathered the information , CCTV & forensics so professionally and quickly isn't it. Can you notice the differences between the Italian Police and the Portugeezers?

I think the coverage on this story is awful can you imagine how her parents are feeling.....one report last week stated that this Knox finger print had been found on the students skin where she had held her down.......I cannot imagine how the parents are feeling after reading this ..........
