persuade parents?

i was going to travel to germany to complete my university studies currently i am in last year of high school
at first my mother was okay with it but during last summer i went to the UAE on holiday and since that day and she refuses and says i should complete at least basic university first then go take my doctorate from there
i really want to go there i am now 17 and will not be 18 when the time comes
what do you think i should do

well there is also another problem before i enter university i will be applying in to a studentkolleg to learn german which needs about 8000 euros and i don't own that money now and i don't know how can i get it in such shrt time knowing that the payemen must be done before my arrival and not on installements tha i can pay through working

What's a year? Do your first year at home and study in a community language school. These are usually inexpensive. You can also get a part time job. You end up with some basic German language skills, some money and the first year of your degree. You also earn favor with your parents because of your obedience.

I don't understand - since you say you are 17 and in high school, how can you be planning to complete your university studies before you are 18? Doctorate? You're getting way ahead of yourself. By the time you are ready to finish your university studies you will be well past 20, and able to make your own decisions on such things.

Find out why your mom doesn't want you going to Germany right away.

And until you're 18, there's really not much you can do, since you're still a minor and your parents can have their say over what happens (if you're in the U.S., anyway).

do what you like best.better if you go now i think 'cause it will help you become more independent.you can play on this card,saying that you feel living life on your own will get you to be more independent and stand by yourself.
