Nothing.
He could have just recently discovered his sexuality. It happens. Sometimes people who we know are straight (and they themselves thought they are straight) will realize one day that they are gay.
If he has been keeping if from you, then you should respect it. Coming out is difficult and it is not about being dishonest. People can stay in the closet in their whole life out of fear.
Accept the fact that your friend is gay and that he is still the same person before you found out he is gay.

I would do nothing. They are still the same person. It doesn't matter whether they like the opposite or the same sex their love life is still nothing to do with you. Just be there for your friend, telling you was probably the hardest thing they had to do.

And its probably from all that time you played together and your bodies touched. He probably went home everyday and whacked off to your class picture.
You were soooo hot to him that he will spend the rest of his adult life looking for another like you. Why dont you let him get a taste of that a ss of yours? No one needs to know. Its really you that he wants anyway. You might learn a little about yourself that you didnt know.

Absolutely nothing.
Since when is sexual orientation a factor in friendship? That is really close-minded thinking.
It should not make any difference to you. Respect your friend's sexuality and he/she will respect yours.

By the way...people don't "turn" gay...it's who and what they are...it just sometimes takes a while to realize it ( this is in reply to Nicole's response).

First, I'd be very surprised. Then I would be uncomfortable for a while as I wrapped my mind around this new understanding. Then I would be comfortable and still be his/her friend. It's no big deal, it's just the surprise that is uncomfortable because you have to assimilate a big, new piece of information!

Chances are he wasn't always gay.
You can't change the past,
so don't let it bother you.
You were friends in your childhood,
& he went a different way.
Don't let it change anything between you.
