I am now a days very confused about my marriage. I do love a girl, (I don’t know whether she loves me or not) and want to marry her, but my family members think that I should do marriage according to their wish. According to them, the girl should be their relative, and, if not, then she should be a working lady, so that she can help me financially.
What do you think, should I go for my love or I should do according to wish of my family.

Personally I would be pissed off if someone married me just because I could bring in a good pay check to help out.
If you live in a culture that arranged marriages are the norm you are going to have to abide by your family wishes or break away.

I was raised that we marry the one we love. Why can't this girl get a job and help financially until you have children together? Be sured to find out how she feels before you start proposing marriage to her.

I am torn, I don't believe that people should marry to others who will be dependent on them financially. Have you ever noticed that money people marry into money? I think love goes out the window rapidly when there is too much poverty. Not that it can't happen otherwise. It is really a toss-up.

if you love this girl why would you let your parents decide who to spend you life with???

marry the girl you love and that too if she loves you.you should know whether she loves you or not by the way she approaches you.love is natural and conspicous.tell her about you parents wish and see her reaction.if she gets upset it means that she loves you .otherwise ,you've got the answer
