and just wondering what sort of exercise I should aim to do to avoid leakage and anything I can do about period pain while exercising.

To help keep the flow from being so heavy I would recommend eating things that are high in iron like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course).

As for exercise walking such as on a treadmill can be of help.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

Umm i have no idea what ways to excercise to avoid leakage but i do know that any type of excercise helps with period pains..When i get period pains i dance instead of lay around feeling sorry for my self lol..and it works,so i dont htink you ahve to worry about that :)
