Well, I used to be a substitute teacher--considering the pay vs. the aggravation, that was pretty much charity. I also volunteer at varioius charitable organizations.

I have helped with the Christmas basket projects, baked cookies for sending to the troops, worked with the 4-H, helped the people at nursing homes play bingo, gave supplies to pet shelters, helped at food pantries, donated and cleaned shoes for a shoe collection, gave blankets to homeless shelter, donated things I don't need to resale shops that helps women in crisis and homeless people. There are probablly more, just can't remember all of them.
Some of my kids friends have come to stay here when their parents kick them out.
