Once you start taking it, you still shouldn't have unprotected sex for 2 weeks. See your doc and they'll explain everything and give you a prescription.

You have to have a prescription from your GP who may or may not agree to supply it. It depends on his/her personal opinion and conscience as to whether they think it right to do so. The GP should respect your confidentiality however and your parents do not need to know. It would be mature of you to discuss the situation with them. If you are determoned they they will know they can't really stop you.

There is the matter of it being illegal to have sex under age added to the fact your virginity is something to be valued and not thrown away to the first lad who comes along. Be very sure of your emotional relationship with him is right before jumping into bed. If he loves you he will wait until the time is right. By making him wait you are checking that he is not forcing the pace because he wants to f**k you and move on to the next conquest.

On no account should you start the pill today and have unprotected sex tonight!!! It will not be effective for some time to come. Get advice from your doctor and not your boyfriend on this. You definitely can get pregnant first time round. The pill will not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases so be sure of your partner's sexual history before relying on the pill alone.

Finally it is not a particularly healthy thing to start feeding hormones into your body at a young age and to keep doing it for 20 years. Ask your doctor about the risks as well as the benefits of the pill.

i'm 14 and on the pill, it's available to almost anyone at the gynecologist, just make an appointment and ask.
it's recommended to take the pill atleast a month before having unprotected sex for full protection. The minimum being 2 weeks.

No, you have to give it a while to take full effect.
Anyway, you are underage aren't you?? Give it some thought before you take the plunge - do you really want to have sex with a particular person or are you just giving in to peer pressure?
M y advice is, forget about it for a while, study, get a good career, get somewhere in life first.

Nope, use a condom and lube so it does not break. The pill can take anywhere from a week to a month to be concidered effective pregnancy. You should be using both anyway, just incase one fails. No concreception method is 100% fool proof
