I might ask you the same question.

I ask questions to find answers that a google search wont solve.

Because people want to get other peoples opinions. Most people, (though I'm sure there are always some) do not actually use this as medical advice or things like that, but they like to have people with some of the same experiences. Actually taking what most people say to heart and not actually seeking medical advice is not smart and while there may be some people that do that I do not think it is the majority. Nothing wrong with asking questions. It's why they have y/a in the first place. Don't have questions you can't have answers.

maybe, because google answers might not be all right, yahoo you get a lot of answers at one go, and there from people that tell you right info about now, say your asking a question for a game on yahoo people will tell you whats going on now, but on google it might have been sent in from like 3 years ago! thats why i use yahoo! =] hope i helped!

Not only is it a good way to get anonymous answers to questions you don't want to ask people you know but it is fun to get a variety of answers to something you made up.

also you just wanted to ask this question for no apparent reason, think about that there sir... mam... whatever you are, I didn't look at who asked the question before I went to this window.

I asked my question on an actor because I haven't been able to find out that information on my own and because I thought maybe someone here would know. I asked one about a soap I watch because I just started watching it and thought someone here could clarify something for me. Maybe some people don't have friends to ask. And maybe it's just fun!

Who knows except the person asking, so why did you ask a question, and what do you hope to learn from that answer ? I would hope people have some real issues and need to have diffenent answers to help them solve a problem

Most of the time it's to get confirmation on an answer they want. Sometimes, it's because they actually do not know. Other times, they just want to ask something stupid (aka: nothing better to do).
