It scared me how these three simple words can be so sacred when strung together. Even scarier when people use it so loosely and without meaning.

Love is acting correctly to the next. Means that you can even love your enemy. That´s what Jesus meant. Now love about passion, needing, wanting, missing...these kind of stuff, I do agree with you on that. Those 3 words have been misused lately. So the weight of that sentence, meaning the passionate feelings among 2 persons, shall have different weights depending on who´s saying to who.
In some cases, it can weight the whole universe ;-). So only say that yourself, when you are really ready to it :)

i think that it is too widely used when it should be a sacred line. it has become a cliche and its a shame because it means so much to many people. i think that people who use it loosely are just showing that they dont love people so just say it to feel loved.

Oh, but it's even scarier when people say it rarely and with lots of meaning... scares me to death.

Mine weighs a five elephants, four cows, three pandas, two hippos and a whale. Add a tone to that and you'll see how serious I am when I say it. I find it hard not to love people either fraternally or romantically and I'm very effusive. like showing people I love them rather than just saying it.
