Marino is insane. Phil Simms was kissing Ben butt the whole game today. I would put him at #5 at best. He's lucky they played a team with no defense or they would have lost.

Finally Dan Marino said something mildly intelligent.
Ben won't have the passing yards that some other QB's have because the Steelers are a run-heavy offense. That's not hard to figure out. He is ranked #2 with QB ratings, I think that says a lot right there. He is a solid QB, breaks tackles like not a lot of other guys can do and turns a potential loss of yards in to a huge play. He's accurate and doesn't get rattled easily by a defense. He is a complete package.

Romo IS a good QB, but if we're going to nitpick particular stats, how about his 11ints?

Nope. Everyone is always interested in stats. Not every team is going to be pass happy. Some teams have to be balanced others like to run. Ben plays his role in a great time tested offense, even though they are opening up the play book. Big Ben makes great decisions and always makes the plays according to the offense. Everyone needs to understand that every QB is different and each team different schemes. Big Ben has to be in the top 2 or 3 QB's because he leads his team and the team definitly responds to Ben. Unlike Peyton Manning who has a poor attitude and always pointing finger at someone else.

Going by QB ratings he is correct. Big Ben is no#2 and it does go relatively unseen. Pittsburgh is a running team and is known for this. His passing yards are lower than Favre, Brady, Romo and co (he is 11th.), but he is accurate and passes well in the red zone (he is 3rd in TD passes). As long as he plays his role of field general and lets the RB's establish the ground attack he can sit back and take advantage of the offense he plays in.

Froggy has a good point. All highlights and stats say Brady, P. Manning, Romo, Favre..If I'm not mistaken didn't the Steelers have a late season romp a couple years back when they whacked the Seahawks in the bowl?

Watch out, Big Ben is still BIG!!!

Who's number 1 & 3?

not in Passing Yards
1. T. Brady NWE 2686
2. B. Favre GNB 2406
3. T. Romo DAL 2308

Yes in TD's & QB rating.
see site--
but he only has 208 pass attempts to Brady's 299.
So I'd have to say no.

No, He's pissed every one is breaking his records. Farve His TD's and yards in a career and Manning all his signal season records. Ben is playing good. He is winning games for the first time (I said winning games). The year he won the Superbowl he just managed the games now he is winning them. But he still has a ways to go to catch Brady and Manning...O and They all have Superbowl Rings. Wawawawaaaaa....sorry Dan

2. Manning

4. Romo
